The app is designed to extend the duration of single sessions, help develop the habit of regular meditation, and wake you up if you fall asleep or become lost in thought. In accordance with numerous scientific studies, mindful meditation, among other things, makes us more relaxed, improves our concentration, gives us stronger control over our emotions, and increases our ability to work under stress. Additionally, it greatly facilitates processing new information and making decisions, improves learning and memorizing capability, increases self-awareness and enhances our creativity.Due to the multitude of benefits of this meditation method, I decided to practice it. I thought that lying down would provide the greatest comfort regardless of the duration of the meditation. Unfortunately, it turned out that the position was so comfortable that I fell asleep, or the meditation was short because I became discouraged or had long periods of contemplation (mind wandering). It was also difficult for me to develop a habit of daily meditation. As a programmer, I took on the challenge of creating an application that would be a tool to facilitate meditation. As a result, it would extend the duration of single sessions, help develop the habit of regular meditation, and wake you up if you fall asleep or become lost in thought. I began using my application 4 months ago, starting with several ten-minute daily sessions in the aforementioned lying down position. Now, my sessions last 60 minutes and I cannot wait for each next one.If you encounter any errors or have any suggestions, please write a comment in the app reviews.
